They've been knocking me sideways...

"These feelings won't go away...they've been knocking me sideways...they've been knocking me out lately...whenever you come around me...these feelings won't go away...they've been knocking me sideways."-Sideways, Citizen Cope

Below are some quick recaps and photos from this weekend's much anticipated Citizen Cope concert at the Neighborhood Theater in NoDa.  As I've mentioned before I love the NoDa area, as it's very artistic, creative, and a fun area to hang out in.  The Neighborhood Theater is no exception to that, and the perfect venue for a show like Citizen Cope.  For those not familiar with "C.C." as we've so lovingly dubbed him, here is a video of his laid-back stylings.

The show was a lot of fun, as really any occasion with these girls are a ton of fun, Saturday night being no exception.  While I myself didn't know every lyric of every song, that didn't prevent me from dancing along, singing, swaying and evening learning some new dance moves by watching the audience.  Although the night had a few interesting moments (between "sassy" fans and my thirty minute long adventure to get to the bathroom),all in all it was a great night out with my favorite girls.  Can't wait for our next night of fun and mayhem.  Enjoy the pictures below.

(Special Note: Check out the itty bitty t in citizen and the slightly bigger o in sold)

(Mr. Citizen Cope himself.  We were so close to the stage, but you pay the price for that with overly aggressive concert goers.  What you can't see very well in this photo is his shiner...he informed the crowd that he was in the ER two days ago...oh the life of a rocker.)

(Nikki and I attempted to take this picture probably five times before we finally captured the perfect shot)
