They say it's your birthday...well it's my birthday too...

In exactly one month to date, I will be celebrating a milestone of a birthday, the big 25 (I can't believe I just put that into print). Always a year old for my grade growing up I was used to celebrating a birthday ahead, even driving and later drinking before friends and classmates. The added year was something I'd become accustomed to, yet the more candles on the cake, the less excited I'd become about each birthday and each year. Until recently I'd struggled with lack of success in adulthood, yet I've come to respect the path I've been given in life, and feel welcome in this place. With that said, this birthday will be one of great celebration and joy, in every possible sense of the word, so hurry up 25, I'm ready to party!
